Event Description:
The 22-voice Musical Arts Singers, under the direction of Dr. Douglas Peterson, will perform a medley, Made in the USA, of Dixieland Jazz, Rock ’n’ Roll, Country, and Broadway music. The program will feature a delightful medley from Showboat by Jerome Kern. The Singers will be accompanied by Eric Eichorst.
Founded in 1980, the Musical Arts Singers perform two concerts annually. SNMAS music director, Douglas Peterson, is in his 49th year as music director of the Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society. Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and $8 for students. Tickets may be purchased at the UNLV Performing Center Box Office call 702-895-2787.
